Students just feel better

It all started when…

We kept hearing stories from teachers, counselors, and especially from students themselves. At first it was, “Wow, I feel so much better.” Then it was, “Why have we never learned this before.” And finally, “Why can’t we have you here every day?” Then, we heard stories from parents about how their kids would come home and teach them things they learned about their brain and ways to calm themselves down when they felt overwhelmed. We knew we had to do more.

This led to creating our own 1-5 pain-scale measurement system and asking students before and after class simply, “Check in, how do you feel right now?” This helped kids practice turning inward and observing how they were feeling in the moment.

The results blew us away. On average, students felt more than 50% better in just 45 minutes.
